![]() ISLAMABAD — The United Nations recently reported that the number of people suffering from the massive floods in Pakistan exceeds 13.8 million – more than the combined total of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, the 2005 Kashmir earthquake and the 2010 Haiti earthquake, the United Nations said Monday.
![]() Our Emergency Relief Director in Pakistan reports, “I actually don’t quite know how to describe this to you, walking amongst the rubble and listening to their stories, it is simply overwhelming. It’s one thing seeing the physical destruction and damage; it’s quite another listening to their stories and seeing the look of desperation on their faces. Families have lost every-thing, all their possessions, their homes, their livestock and their crops; they have nothing and have nowhere to go. Try for a moment to imagine yourself and your family in such a tragic situation.”
With winter approaching, there is not enough food, medical supplies, or clean water. Although the number of lives lost at this point is low, the real toll will be the loss of lives due to disease and lack of crops to sustain the survisors. Please, help us feed the hungry in Pakistan. Your donation will help save lives. Thank You
