For years Children\u2019s Hunger Relief Fund has been privileged to support and work with our partners in Burkina Faso, a land-locked country in Western Africa. The country has the world\u2019s ninth highest infant mortality rate, worse then even war torn countries like Ethiopia or Southern Sudan and also has one of the worst life-expectancy ages.<\/p>\n

Over the past years together we have worked to feed local children in the community that otherwise may not have been able to find a healthy meal for days. The feeding program near the local church provides hundreds of meals every week to those children.<\/p>\n

Because of the lack of Christianity in the country our team\u2019s Church in Burkina Faso is one of the only in the area. Because of the great reputation the team there has worked hard to earn while serving the community, teachers from all around have flocked to help and teach many of the children in the area. Many of the children love to sing and consequently the church has started a youth choir!<\/p>\n

What\u2019s even more impressive is that the local government was so impressed by our partners in Burkina Faso that they have given and granted them free land in the area so that they may expand their outreach!<\/p>\n

The team is working hard to help families and communities live in peace together. Many of the parents quickly resort to beating their children when they misbehave but the teachings and influence of our partners is spreading through the local communities.<\/p>\n

Thanks in part to the help of CHRF Donors many children are free to learn, eat a healthy meal and sing their joyous gratitude in an otherwise desperate and grim region of the world! We are proud to be a part of the great project in Burkina Faso and continue our mission of bringing hope to the hopeless!<\/p>\n
