Car Wash for a Cause

For over a decade one of CHRF's Associate Churches in Ohio has put on a car wash in which the proceeds support a project in great need. This year, by the grace of God, was the most successful year yet!

Knowing how great the need is, the proceeds of this years car wash will benefit micro-enterprise programs in Africa.

Children throughout the "Horn of Africa" are suffering greatly from starvation and malnutrition. Stunted growth, cognitive impairments, and weakened immune systems, are just some of the tragic effects starvation brings.

These micro-enterprise programs are life changing!! Families are able to start up their own business and offer jobs to members of the community, which in turn benefits the local economies.

Here at CHRF we want to break the cycle of poverty!! As little as $250 can help change a families life forever! The feeling of being able to feed your family, provide for them, teach your children the power of hard work and determination, is so rewarding.

A single starving child is one too many in our book. Finding creative and fun ways in which we can help save lives-- such as running a yearly car wash-- is something we are very proud of.
