CHRF in Uganda: Protecting the lives of God’s children.
Children’s Hunger Relief Fund has several different projects in Uganda (http://chrf.org/uganda.html) but this week we received outstanding news that one of our orphanages has been able to finish the development of their new home and school building. The building has been a dream for many of the local volunteers but now, thanks in great part to the generosity of good people like our CHRF donors, their dream has miraculously taken manifestation. The children could not be happier. Many of them have been through more suffering in their short years of life then most of us can imagine. That is why CHRF strives to care for and protect these innocent children, not only in Uganda, but around the world. Because of wonderful and compassionate people like Judi Haven Gentry (CHRF’s Good Samaritan of 2011), who has adopted this orphanage as her own, children in Uganda and around the world are able to eat a healthy and steady meal. They attend school and acquire an education that was otherwise unavailable to them. They also receive medicine or medical attention when they become sick which in some cases can stop a sickness or disease easily in its early stages - the diseases that are too often not caught until they have already taken a child’s life. And finally, these children are provided with clean drinking water, a true miracle in many parts of the world! The next goal at the Uganda school and orphanage is to dig the current clean water drinking well deeper in order to provide more water for the facility. THANK YOU to all of our Children’s Hunger Relief Fund donors for making this story, and many many more like them YOU, and our donors, the world is a better, healthier and safer place for God’s children.
