Special Request from our partners in Zambia

Children's Hunger Relief Fund has received an urgent request from our partners in Zambia and we are turning to our amazing group of donors for help.

Our partners in Zambia fulfill some of the most important work in the world, caring for young abandoned babies. Many of the children that now live in the orphanage had been left at just weeks or months old in gutters, streets and even toilets! Now, because of the great work of our partners and the incredible support of our donors and friends these children live safely in a place where they are cared for and loved.

These ministries in Zambia have over 100 "wet diapers" and "wet clothes" which they must wash every day, 365 days per year in order to supply their children with clean diapers. Every night a mountain of clothes has stacked up that must be ready for the children in the morning.

But now sadly their washing machines are barely working and many of the staff members are working day and night to hand wash the diapers for the children. Unfortunately the washers are so old that new parts to fix the machines are unattainable and so our partners must buy new washing machines in order to efficiently continue their valued work to care for these beautiful children.

The good news is that our partners have been able to secure a great deal on two commercial grade washers as well as having the shipping from the United States paid for! Now they need to raise the $5,600 that is needed to buy the washing machines for their children's dirty clothes. Anything we can do together will be a huge support and encouragement to our partners in Zambia that are doing such incredible work. P.S. Please Pray for our international emergency relief team as they are currently traveling to the South Sudan where terrible stories of genocide, murder, rape and starvation are coming out. We are told that most aid groups will not go near the danger, planes refuse to fly their chartered aircraft near to the fighting. It's time like these when our CHRF Emergency Relief Team decides to go in, to find children and families who are beyond desperate, who have given up hope for help and replenish and restore their hope with our support.
