The Team Returns to Sudan as Raids, Bombings & Malaria endanger thousands of Innocent lives:

It’s really impossible for most of us to imagine fleeing our homes, our whole lives and everything else but our children in the turn of a second. But this week, even possibly today, that is exactly what has happened and continues to unfold to thousands of families that have tried to start their new lives anywhere near the Northern South Sudan border. Bombing raids and attacks have destroyed camps, villages and families alike in the North's covetousness attempts to capture any land with prospects for oil.

But when families are forced to move and flee for their lives it is the young and helpless children that suffer the most. Close behind the number of lives lost due to the war the World Health Organization estimates Malaria to be one of the leading causes of death to small children in Sudan. After gathering more emergency supplies and thousands of meals after their last delivery Mission our Emergency Relief Team is once again making the dangerous trip into some of the most secluded and treacherous areas of the Sudan in order to find the children and families who haven’t received help from any relief agencies.
"We will work to find the Families who haven't been helped, who have been forgotten, just as we did in Somalia."

Thanks to CHRF Donors the team has also packed a large amount of Mosquito nets in order to help the vulnerable children find protection from the risk of contracting malaria, a death sentence in the forgotten desolate regions of South Sudan. Although the civil war in the Sudan has been taking the lives of children for decades the World Health Organization estimates Malaria to be one of the leading causes for death of children. Follow the CHRF Blog and Website to read the Emergency Relief Team's report from the Sudan in the coming weeks. Without the help, care, compassion and generosity of CHRF Donors Emergency Life-Saving Trips like these would not be possible to the children and families in Sudan and other places in need around the world would never be possible.
